Effective: March 24, 2021 Latest Legislation: House Bill 123 - 133rd General Assembly Each local, city, exempted village, joint vocational school district, community school established under Chapter 3314., STEM school established under Chapter 3326., and college-preparatory boarding school established under Chapter 3328. of the Revised Code may designate a student-led violence prevention club for each school building in the district or school serving grades six through twelve. If created, each club shall do the following: (A) Be open to all members of the student body; (B) Have at least one identified adult advisor; (C) Implement and sustain suicide and violence prevention and social inclusion training and awareness activities in a manner consistent with section 3301.221 of the Revised Code; (D) Foster opportunities for student leadership development.
