Effective: August 6, 1999 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 1 - 123rd General Assembly The board of education of a city, exempted village, local, joint vocational, or cooperative education school district may adopt a policy authorizing the district superintendent, other district administrative personnel, or personnel employed by the district to direct, supervise, or coach a pupil activity program as provided in the policy to prohibit a student from participating in any particular or all extracurricular activities of the district or a school of the district for a period of time as provided in the policy. If a board of education adopts a policy under this section, the board shall post the policy in a central location in each school building of the district and make it available to students upon request.
