Effective: September 29, 2015 Latest Legislation: House Bill 64 - 131st General Assembly (A) The state board of education may establish an annual teacher of the year recognition program for outstanding teachers.(B) Notwithstanding division (A) of section 2921.43 of the Revised Code, a person or entity may make a voluntary contribution to the recognition program described in division (A) of this section.(C) Notwithstanding division (A) of section 2921.43 of the Revised Code, a teacher who is recognized as a teacher of the year by the recognition program described in division (A) of this section may accept gifts and privileges as part of the recognition program.
