Effective: October 3, 2023 Latest Legislation: House Bill 33 - 135th General Assembly The superintendent of Ohio deaf and blind education services may return any pupil under the superintendent's jurisdiction to the pupil's resident school district if, in the opinion of the superintendent and the director of education and workforce, that pupil is not making sufficient progress to justify continuance as a pupil at the state school for the deaf or the state school for the blind.
