Effective: December 21, 2011 Latest Legislation: House Bill 157 - 129th General Assembly A college-preparatory boarding school established under this chapter shall be considered a school district and its board of trustees shall be considered a board of education for the purpose of applying to any state or federal agency for grants that a school district or public school may receive under federal or state law or any appropriations act of the general assembly. The college-preparatory boarding school may apply to any private entity to receive and accept funds.
