Effective: September 29, 2015 Latest Legislation: House Bill 64 - 131st General Assembly The chancellor of higher education, in consultation with the governor and the department of development, shall develop a critical needs rapid response system to respond quickly to critical workforce shortages in the state. Not later than ninety days after a critical workforce shortage is identified, the chancellor shall submit to the governor a proposal for addressing the shortage through initiatives of the department of higher education or institutions of higher education.
