Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly The board of trustees of the Ohio state university annually shall elect one of their number chairman, and in the absence of the chairman, elect one of their number temporary chairman. It also may appoint a secretary, treasurer, and librarian, and such other officers as the interest of the college require, who may be members of the board. Such appointees shall hold their offices for such term as the board fixes, subject to removal by it, and shall receive such compensation as the board prescribes.
