Effective: December 2, 1996 Latest Legislation: House Bill 670 - 121st General Assembly The engineering experiment station shall be under the control of the board of trustees of the Ohio state university, through the regular administrative and fiscal officers. The board shall appoint a director on recommendation of the president of the university. There shall be an advisory committee of seven members appointed by the board of which committee the director shall be ex officio a member, and chairperson, said director, and the other six members to be chosen from the faculty of the college of engineering. The term of these members shall be for three years. The director and advisory committee shall select suitable subjects for investigation, apportion the available funds, and with the consent of the board may provide for the dissemination of the results to the people of the state.
