Effective: October 3, 2023 Latest Legislation: House Bill 33 - 135th General Assembly (A) Annually, not later than the thirty-first day of December, the president, or equivalent position, of each state university shall issue a report regarding the remediation of students that includes all of the following: (1) The number of enrolled students that require remedial education; (2) The cost of remedial coursework the state university provides; (3) The specific areas of remediation provided by the state university; (4) Causes for remediation. (B) Each president, or equivalent, shall present the findings of the report to the state university's board of trustees and shall submit a copy of the report to the chancellor of higher education and the department of education and workforce.
