Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly The board of directors of any municipal university, college, or other educational institution, upon the recommendation of the faculty thereof, may confer such degrees and honors as are customary in universities and colleges in the United States, and such other degrees and honors as, with reference to the courses of study and attainments of the graduates in special departments, are proper.
