Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly The legislative authority of any municipal corporation may set apart or appropriate as a site for the buildings and grounds of a municipal university, college, or other educational institution, public grounds of the municipal corporation not especially appropriated or dedicated by ordinance to any other use. The board of education of such a municipal corporation may, for a similar purpose, set apart, convey, or lease for a term of years, any grounds or building owned or controlled by such board.
