Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly The board of directors of a university, college, or other educational institution of any municipal corporation, in the name of and on behalf of the municipal corporation, may accept and take any property or funds given to such corporation for the purpose of founding, maintaining, or aiding a university, college, or institution for the promotion of education, and upon such terms, conditions, and trusts consistent with law as the board deems expedient and proper for that end.
