Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly The board of county commissioners of two or more contiguous counties may by joint resolution create a regional library district and may provide for the establishment, control, and maintenance in such district of a free public library.Such district shall contain the territory of all school districts of such counties outside the territorial boundaries of a subdivision or district maintaining a free public library, including the territory of any such subdivision or district maintaining a free public library and petitioning to become a part of such regional library district pursuant to section 3375.29 of the Revised Code.
