Effective: October 30, 1989 Latest Legislation: House Bill 230 - 118th General Assembly The board of education of a city, exempted village, or local school district, which does not have a board of library trustees established under section 3375.15 of the Revised Code may issue bonds in accordance with Chapter 133. of the Revised Code, without regard to section 3375.43 of the Revised Code, for the purpose of purchasing, erecting, constructing, enlarging, improving, equipping, and furnishing library facilities and acquiring real estate and interests in real estate therefor, to be operated by the board of trustees of any free public library, library association, or corporation pursuant to section 3375.18 of the Revised Code.
