Effective: April 5, 1976 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1165 - 111th General Assembly When members of party committees are elected at a primary election, the returns shall be made and canvassed in the same manner as for the election of state, district, and county offices. The election authorities shall issue and deliver to each person who is elected a certificate of his election. A list of such party committeemen who are chosen shall be filed and kept in the office of the secretary of state and the board of elections for a period of two years.
