Effective: July 1, 1985 Latest Legislation: House Bill 201 - 116th General Assembly If the board of elections in a county orders a recount in any county or municipal election pursuant to section 3515.011 of the Revised Code, the expense of the recount shall be paid from the county treasury in the same manner as other expenses of the board under section 3501.17 of the Revised Code.If the secretary of state orders a recount as provided in section 3515.011 of the Revised Code, the expense of the recount shall be paid from funds appropriated to the secretary of state, who may apply to the controlling board for funds to avert any deficiency that thereby would be created in current appropriations.
