Effective: April 6, 2021 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 27 - 133rd General Assembly (A) The director of health, pursuant to Chapter 119. and consistent with Chapter 3726. and section 2317.56 of the Revised Code, shall adopt rules relating to abortions and the following subjects: (1) Post-abortion procedures to protect the health of the pregnant woman; (2) Pathological reports; (3) Humane disposition of the product of human conception; (4) Counseling. (B) The director of health shall implement the rules and shall apply to the court of common pleas for temporary or permanent injunctions restraining a violation or threatened violation of the rules. This action is an additional remedy not dependent on the adequacy of the remedy at law.
