Effective: March 20, 2013 Latest Legislation: House Bill 303 - 129th General Assembly The director of health shall enter into a contract with each primary care practice selected by the director for inclusion in the patient centered medical home education pilot project. The contract shall specify the terms and conditions for inclusion in the pilot project, including a requirement that the practice provide comprehensive, coordinated primary care services to patients and serve as the patients' medical home. The contract shall also require the practice to participate in the training of medical students, advanced practice registered nursing students, physician assistant students, and primary care medical residents. The director may include as part of the contract any other requirements necessary for a practice to be included in the project, including requirements regarding the number of patients served who are medicaid recipients and individuals without health insurance.
