The governor may, in accordance with the federal Clean Air Act, exercise all powers permitted by the federal Clean Air Act to be exercised by a governor, including, but not limited to, powers pertaining to the issuance of orders; adoption of rules; designation of officials; emergency suspension of any part of an implementation plan adopted by the state; and redesignation of air quality control regions.
