Effective: December 22, 2005 Latest Legislation: House Bill 397 - 126th General Assembly (A) If the owner or operator of a construction and demolition debris facility rejects a load of debris that has been accepted at the unloading zone of the facility because the load is not eligible for disposal at the facility under this chapter and rules adopted under it, including section 3714.081 of the Revised Code, the owner or operator shall notify the director of environmental protection or a board of health, as applicable, of the rejection of the load. The notification shall be made in accordance with rules adopted under section 3714.02 of the Revised Code and shall include the date and time that the load was rejected, the license plate number of the vehicle transporting the rejected load as well as an indication of the state of origin of the vehicle, the name of the transporter or shipper of the load, if ascertainable, and the reason for rejecting the load. After rejecting a load, the owner or operator shall give the transporter or shipper of the load, as applicable, instructions regarding the requirements of division (B) of this section.
