Effective: April 6, 2007 Latest Legislation: House Bill 443 - 126th General Assembly Beginning six months after the effective date of this section, no person shall offer a mercury-added novelty for sale or distribute such a novelty for promotional purposes in this state unless the only mercury in the mercury-added novelty is a removable button cell battery. Beginning January 1, 2011, no person shall offer any mercury-added novelty for sale or distribute any mercury-added novelty for promotional purposes in this state.
