Effective: April 6, 2007 Latest Legislation: House Bill 443 - 126th General Assembly Beginning one year after the effective date of this section, no person shall offer a mercury-containing thermostat for sale in this state or install a mercury-containing thermostat in this state unless the mercury-containing thermostat is installed in the residence of a visually impaired person or the thermostat is used to sense and control temperatures as a part of a manufacturing process.
