Effective: October 17, 2011 Latest Legislation: House Bill 277 - 129th General Assembly There is hereby created in the state treasury the casino operator settlement fund. The fund shall receive any money paid to the state by the operators of casino facilities in excess of any licenses or fees provided by this chapter or by Section 6(C) of Article XV, Ohio Constitution, and in excess of any taxes as provided by Title LVII of the Revised Code. Moneys in the fund may be used for activities related to workforce development, economic development, job creation, training, education, food banks, and expenses.
