Effective: September 29, 2005 Latest Legislation: House Bill 66 - 126th General Assembly The Ohio athletic commission and the commission's executive director shall not issue a license or permit to conduct public boxing or wrestling matches or exhibitions in a municipal corporation or the unincorporated portion of a township if the commission or the commission's executive director determines that the legislative authority of the municipal corporation or board of township trustees has in effect an ordinance or resolution prohibiting such matches or exhibitions.
