Effective: November 3, 1989 Latest Legislation: House Bill 222 - 118th General Assembly Nothing in sections 3783.01 to 3783.08 of the Revised Code shall apply to inspection of the design, construction, maintenance, or replacement of any of the following:(A) Installations in ships, watercraft, railway rolling stock, aircraft, or automotive vehicles;(B) Installations underground in mines;(C) Installations of railways for the generation, transformation, transmission, or distribution of power used exclusively for operation of rolling stock or installations used exclusively for signaling and communication purposes;(D) Installations of communication equipment under control of communication utilities, located outdoors or in building spaces used for such installations;(E) Installations under the control of electric utilities for the purpose of communication, metering, or for the generation, control, transformation, transmission, and distribution of electric energy located in building spaces used by utilities for such purposes or located on property owned or leased by the utility or on public highways, streets, roads, etc., or by established rights on private property;(F) Installations of sed by utilities for such purposes or located on property owned or leased by the utility or on public highways, streets, roads, etc., or by established rights on private property;(F) Installations of elevators, dumbwaiters, and escalators as regulated by the bureau of workers' compensation.
