Effective: June 30, 1997 Latest Legislation: House Bill 374 - 122nd General Assembly The superintendent of insurance may adopt rules in accordance with Chapter 119. of the Revised Code that the superintendent considers necessary and advisable for the purpose of implementing the 'Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996,' Pub. L. No. 104-191, 110 Stat. 1955, 42 U.S.C.A. 300gg, as amended, and any regulation adopted thereunder.
