Effective: October 19, 2022 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 256 - 134th General Assembly (A) Notwithstanding any other provisions of Title XXXIX of the Revised Code, no person shall act or represent the person's self as a travel administrator for travel insurance in this state unless that person holds one of the following licenses in good standing in this state: (1) Property and casualty license; (2) Managing general agent license; (3) Third-party administrator license. (B)(1) A travel insurer is responsible for the acts of a travel administrator administering travel insurance underwritten by the travel insurer and is responsible for ensuring that the travel administrator maintains all books and records relevant to the travel insurer.
