Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly No life insurance company doing business in this state, and no officer, director, representative, or other agent thereof, or any other person, firm, partnership, association, or corporation, shall knowingly make, issue, or circulate, or cause or knowingly permit to be made, issued, or circulated, any estimate, illustration, circular, or statement of any sort which misrepresents the terms of any policy issued or to be issued by it or any other company, or the benefits or advantages promised thereby, or makes any misleading estimate of the dividends or shares of surplus to be received thereon; nor shall such organization or person use any name or title of any policy or class of policies which misrepresents the true nature thereof.No such life insurance company or officer, director, or agent thereof, or any other person, firm, partnership, association, corporation, or representative shall make any misrepresentation or incomplete comparison, oral or written, to any person insured in any company for the purpose of inducing or tending to induce a policyholder in any company to lapse, forfeit, change, or
