Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly Upon the compliance of any foreign corporation, company, or association with section 3919.21 of the Revised Code, the superintendent of insurance shall issue to such corporation, company, or association a certificate of authority to transact its business in this state, which certificate shall be renewed annually, but he shall refuse such certificate to any such corporation, company, or association when in his judgment a refusal will best promote the public interest.
