Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly (A) Every group, association, or other organization of insurers which engages in joint underwriting or joint reinsurance is subject to regulation with respect thereto as provided in this section, subject, with respect to joint underwriting, to sections 3937.01 to 3937.17, inclusive, of the Revised Code, and, with respect to joint reinsurance, to sections 3937.11 and 3937.15 to 3937.17, inclusive, of the Revised Code. (B) If, after a hearing, the superintendent of insurance finds that any activity or practice of any such group, association, or other organization is unfair, unreasonable, or otherwise inconsistent with sections 3937.01 to 3937.17, inclusive, of the Revised Code, he may issue a written order specifying in what respects such activity or practice is unfair, unreasonable, or otherwise inconsistent with such sections and requiring the discontinuance of such activity or practice.
