Effective: September 26, 2003 Latest Legislation: House Bill 95 - 125th General Assembly (A) The design, installation, and testing of nonflammable medical gas and vacuum piping systems within the scope of the national fire protection association standard, section 1-1 of 'NFPA 99C, Gas and Vacuum Systems,' is governed by that national fire protection association standard.(B) Installers, inspectors, verifiers, construction contracting maintenance personnel, and instructors for the design, installation, and testing of nonflammable medical gas and vacuum piping systems shall obtain certification by the American society of sanitary engineers in accordance with the American society of sanitary engineering series 6000 requirements.
