Effective: September 10, 2012 Latest Legislation: House Bill 487 - 129th General Assembly (A) The superintendent of industrial compliance shall adopt, amend, and repeal rules exclusively for the issuance, renewal, suspension, and revocation of certificates of competency and certificates of operation, for the conduct of hearings related to these actions, and for the inspection of elevators. (B) Notwithstanding division (A) of this section, the superintendent shall not adopt rules relating to construction, maintenance, and repair of elevators.
