Effective: October 24, 2024 Latest Legislation: House Bill 158 - 135th General Assembly The state cosmetology and barber board shall issue a license to engage in the practice of a branch of cosmetology as an independent contractor to an applicant who pays the applicable fee; holds a current, valid license for the branch of cosmetology that the applicant practices; and satisfies the conditions for the license established by rules adopted under section 4713.08 of the Revised Code.
