Effective: September 29, 2017 Latest Legislation: House Bill 49 - 132nd General Assembly Whenever the term 'state board of optometry' or 'Ohio optical dispensers board' is used in any statute, rule, contract, or other document, the use shall be construed to mean the 'state vision professionals board.'Whenever 'executive director of the state board of optometry' or 'executive secretary-treasurer of the Ohio optical dispensers board' is used in a statute, rule, contract, or other document, the use shall be construed to mean the executive director of the state vision professionals board.
