Effective: March 9, 1999 Latest Legislation: House Bill 553 - 122nd General Assembly Sections 4725.01 to 4725.34 of the Revised Code do not confer on an optometrist the title of medical doctor, physician, surgeon, oculist, ophthalmologist, or any other word or abbreviation indicating that the optometrist is engaged in the practice of medicine.
