Effective: September 26, 1996 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 293 - 121st General Assembly The superintendent of financial institutions shall enforce this chapter, make all reasonable effort to discover alleged violators, notify the proper prosecuting officer whenever the superintendent has reasonable grounds to believe that a violation has occurred, act as complainant in the prosecution thereof, and aid officers to the best of the superintendent's ability in prosecutions. The superintendent shall employ deputies necessary to make the investigations and inspections, and pursuant to Chapter 119. of the Revised Code adopt reasonable rules, including rules that define terms used in this chapter, for the carrying out of this chapter, and otherwise perform the duties imposed by this chapter.
