Effective: March 20, 2019 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 259 - 132nd General Assembly (A) The physician assistant policy committee of the state medical board shall, at such times the committee determines to be necessary, submit to the board recommendations regarding physician-delegated prescriptive authority for physician assistants. The committee's recommendations shall address both of the following:(1) Policy and procedures regarding physician-delegated prescriptive authority;(2) Any issue the committee considers necessary to assist the board in fulfilling its duty to adopt rules governing physician-delegated prescriptive authority.(B) Recommendations submitted under this section are subject to the procedures and time frames specified in division (C) of section 4730.06 of the Revised Code.
