Effective: April 6, 2007 Latest Legislation: House Bill 403 - 126th General Assembly Except as provided in section 4755.45 of the Revised Code, to be eligible to receive a license to practice as a physical therapist, an applicant must pass both of the following:(A) A national physical therapy examination for physical therapists approved by the physical therapy section of the Ohio occupational therapy, physical therapy, and athletic trainers board that tests the applicant's knowledge of the basic and applied sciences as they relate to physical therapy and physical therapy theory and procedures.(B) A jurisprudence examination on Ohio's laws and rules governing the practice of physical therapy that is approved by the physical therapy section.
