Effective: April 6, 2007 Latest Legislation: House Bill 403 - 126th General Assembly Except as provided in section 4755.451 of the Revised Code, to be eligible to receive a license to practice as a physical therapist assistant, an applicant must pass both of the following:(A) A national physical therapy examination for physical therapist assistants approved by the physical therapy section of the Ohio occupational therapy, physical therapy, and athletic trainers board.(B) A jurisprudence examination approved by the physical therapy section on Ohio's laws and rules governing the practice of physical therapy.
