Effective: September 15, 2014 Latest Legislation: House Bill 483 - 130th General Assembly No individual who holds or has held a license, certificate, or endorsement issued under this chapter shall disclose any information regarding the identity, diagnosis, or treatment of any of the individual's clients or consumers except for the purposes and under the circumstances expressly authorized by 42 U.S.C.A. 290dd-2, regulations promulgated pursuant to that federal law, other federal law enacted after December 23, 2002, to replace 42 U.S.C.A. 290dd-2, or regulations promulgated under the replacement federal law. The prohibition of this section applies whether or not the information is recorded.
