Effective: October 17, 2019 Latest Legislation: House Bill 166 - 133rd General Assembly If the state medical board determines under section 4762.03 of the Revised Code that an applicant meets the requirements for a license to practice as an oriental medicine practitioner or license to practice as an acupuncturist, the secretary of the board shall register the applicant as an oriental medicine practitioner or acupuncturist, as appropriate, and issue to the applicant the appropriate license to practice. The license shall be valid for a two-year period unless revoked or suspended, shall expire on the date that is two years after the date of issuance, and may be renewed for additional two-year periods in accordance with section 4762.06 of the Revised Code.
