Effective: January 21, 2018 Latest Legislation: House Bill 49 - 132nd General Assembly Except as provided in section 4779.17 of the Revised Code, the Ohio occupational therapy, physical therapy, and athletic trainers board shall examine or cause to be examined each individual who seeks to practice orthotics, prosthetics, orthotics and prosthetics, or pedorthics in this state.To be eligible to take an examination conducted by the board or an entity recognized by the board for the purpose of this section, an individual must file an application and pay an examination fee as specified in rules adopted by the board under section 4779.08 of the Revised Code and meet all the requirements of section 4779.09 of the Revised Code other than the requirement of having passed the examination.Examinations shall be conducted at least once a year in accordance with rules adopted by the board under section 4779.08 of the Revised Code.
