Effective: September 19, 1961 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 500 - 104th General Assembly No franchise, permit, license, or right to own, operate, manage, or control any public utility which is an electric light company, gas company, water-works company, sewage disposal system company, or heating and cooling company shall be granted or transferred to any corporation not incorporated under the laws of this state.
