Effective: September 12, 2014 Latest Legislation: Senate Bill 310 - 130th General Assembly Beginning January 1, 2017, a customer of an electric distribution utility may opt out of the opportunity and ability to obtain direct benefits from the utility's portfolio plan. Such an opt out shall extend to all of the customer's accounts, irrespective of the size or service voltage level that are associated with the activities performed by the customer and that are located on or adjacent to the customer's premises.
