Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly When a grade crossing is on a county line road, the boards of county commissioners of the counties in which such crossing is situated may join in all the proceedings necessary for the abolition of such grade crossing. That part of the cost of making such change in the crossing and of keeping it in repair which is not agreed to be paid by the railroad company shall be paid by the counties in equal proportions. The money for such purpose shall be raised as in cases of county road crossings.
