Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly Except while acting in the discharge of duty as a detective for the railroad, every policeman appointed under section 4973.17 of the Revised Code shall, when on duty, wear in plain view a metallic shield with the word 'police' and the name of the railroad for which he is appointed inscribed on it.
