Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly When the change of boundaries of townships is required by reason of the extension of the limits of a municipal corporation, such change shall be made by annexation to the township in which the municipal corporation or the greater part of it was previously situated, of such parts of other townships as are covered by such extension.
