Effective: October 1, 1953 Latest Legislation: House Bill 1 - 100th General Assembly The board of county commissioners, on petition of a majority of the electors of an incorporated township, for good cause shown, may alter the name of such township. Thirty days' previous notice of such intended application must be given by advertisement, at three public places in the township. Such change shall not affect the right of property or the internal concerns of the township.
