Effective: March 20, 2019 Latest Legislation: House Bill 291 - 132nd General Assembly Except as otherwise provided in section 3.061 of the Revised Code, each township trustee, before entering upon the discharge of official duties, shall give bond to the state for the use of the township, in the sum of one thousand dollars, conditioned for the faithful performance of official duties as a trustee, and with at least two sureties, each of whom shall be a resident of the same township with the trustee or a corporate surety authorized to do business in this state. Such bond shall be approved by a judge of the county court or judge of a municipal court having jurisdiction in the township.
