Effective: September 29, 2013 Latest Legislation: House Bill 59 - 130th General Assembly If a township park district enters into an agreement for the sale or lease of mineral rights regarding a park within the district, any royalties or other moneys resulting from the sale or lease shall be deposited into a special fund that the board of park commissioners shall establish under division (F) of section 5705.09 of the Revised Code. The fund shall be used exclusively for maintenance of parks within the district and for the acquisition of new park lands.
